A rematch 24 years in the making.

That’s definitely the Sabertooth from the original run of X-Men films, starting back in 2000. I think it’s even the same actor, Tyler Mane. With all the timey-wimey space-wacey multiverse… stuff going on in the MCU, it’s unlikely it’s the same Sabertooth character we’ve encountered before. My bet would be on a variant version of most of the returning X-Men and other mutants set to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine next month. But who knows. What IS clear is the absolutely hilarious seething animosity between the titular characters, something I hope doesn’t get washed over with too much warm and fuzzy friendship by the end. Much funnier if Wolverine just hates him the whole time.

Again I remind all the parents out there: this movie is very very very Rated R.
